Tanner Groehler is a Graphic Designer from MPLS.
He got his start designing posters and merchandise for the thriving music scene throughout Minnesota. Since starting a practice under the name Rats & Children in 2011, he has designed for clubs like First Avenue & 7th St Entry, companies such as Pollen Midwest, and AARP; and record labels like Sub Pop, and No Sleep Records.
His work focuses on a wide variety of content that lands somewhere in the intersection of contemporary art and pop culture.
He is currently attending the Minneapolis College of Art & Design pursuing in BFA in Graphic Design (expected graduation fall of 2019). He also attended the Schoolhuas A4 program, a Bauhaus style art and design course founded and run by Dan Ibarra (Aesthetic Apparatus) and Zak Sally (La Mano 21) in the summer of 2015.
Outside of design work you'll find him playing music around Minneapolis, drinking too much coffee, reading all day at Gold Medal Park, and hunting for dogs to pet.
